Memory Verse: Matthew 5:29, “If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.”

Life Group Questions 

1. What effects have you seen adultery have on people in your life or people you know? If you were to ask the person who committed adultery if it was worth it, what do you think he/she would say?

 

2. How easy is it to get tricked into an adulterous relationship? Read Proverbs 7:6-27. What did the woman do wrong in this? What did the man do wrong? What were the consequences? 

 

3. Read Matthew 5:27-30. According to verse 28 what is equal to adultery? Why is that? Have you ever equated the two until now? What makes them equal in God’s eyes?

 

4. What solutions does Jesus give us in V.29-30? Does he mean this literally? What does he mean?

 

5. Read 1 Corinthians 7:1-7. Why is it important to have a healthy and vibrant sexual relationship with your spouse? What are some practical ways that you can keep romance and intimacy alive in your marriage relationship?
